He fired a three-over 73 on the very tough Southern Hills course on Monday but slipped on the longer but seemingly easier scoring Cedar Ridge course today. He closed with a double bogey on 17 and a bogey on 18 for a 78 = 151. There will be a playoff for four slots tomorrow am for all those who shot 148.
He was the low individual from the local area and he tied for 7th among all the juniors who played in the field of 312. He tied for 122.
In the AJGA tournament at Kingsmill this week Wes Strang, Nate Cohan, and Greg Bourdon all shot 76 to finish tied for 37th. There a number of local players in this field including Jordan Sweet (69), Tyler Wingo (73), Mason Short (73), Jerrel Parrish (75), Connor Tendall (77), and Jay Pinkos (83).
